I’m Marija Satibaldijeva, a photographer based in Amsterdam. Originally from Latvia, I started photography as a creative outlet alongside my work as a stedenbouwkundige (urban planner). What began as a way to capture the details of cities and everyday life slowly grew into something much more meaningful to me. Photography

My photography is inspired by people, places, and quiet moments that often go unnoticed. Living in Amsterdam has shaped the way I see light, movement, and architecture, and I love blending those elements with natural, authentic storytelling. I’m especially drawn to capturing genuine emotions and small details that make each moment unique.

I’m currently at the beginning of my professional photography journey, and I’m excited to keep learning, experimenting, and working with people who want their stories documented in a natural and honest way.
